I wanted to show the differences between a raster image and vector art. I found this photo of the girl on iStockphoto.com. I took it into Illustrator and created a vector version of the face with the pen tool. I then brought them both into photoshop and place them side by side. I placed the illustration above a replicated image and changed the blending mode so you can see the image below it. I screen recorded the end of me creating the illustration.
