I had previously done an animated gif that reveals words as if it had been handwritten. I used what I learned with that and wanted it to be applied to a bird flying and revealing my logo as it flies on top of it. 

The first thing that I had to do was add puppet pins to the bird so that the wings move as it flies. I placed the bird off the artboard and created a keyframe for the position. I moved it back on the artboard and added another position keyframe. I continued to move and add key frames. I also rotated the bird so it was facing the direction it is flying in. 

I placed my logo in the middle of the artboard. At first I used it as a placement to know where my bird will be flying. After I got the path of my bird, I added an effect called Write-On to my logo. I moved the playhead to when the bird went above my logo. From there, I used that effect to reveal my logo frame by frame until it is all shown. I had the bird fade from a hundred percent opacity to zero as it came to the end of my logo.
