board game design

One of the first group projects we did in college was to create a board game. Our group decided on a trivia board game with the theme of college. After we drew up a thumbnail and figured out what we all needed to create, we divided the work between us.
We needed to design the buildings that will represent the courses, design the cards, game logo, and come up with enough questions to be playable. I created the report card that will be used to keep track of individual's scores. The goal of the game is to answer the questions correctly and based on how difficult the question was will get you one or two credits, like college credits, and with each subject, you need to get three credits. First one to get three credits for all subjects wins.
After creating the report card, I started mapping out space on a big document. I put squares in a circle to be the sidewalk places that you move in the game. I made fun chalk designs on some sidewalk pieces that if you land on one, you will need to pick up a chalk card, which are chance cards. Then, I put all the elements that others created, like the buildings and other nature decorations, and added them to the layout of the board game. I also designed the back of the English cards. We all were asked to bring questions and answers for the cards.
After we printed our game elements, mounted the game to a board, we were ready to play College: The Game.
