I know a guy who plays an accordion. If I didn't grow up into a family that enjoys accordion music, I wouldn't appreciate it as much as I do now. I took a photo of his accordion when he was playing, to get the spread out look of it. When he asked for a business card and a t-shirt, I had to say yes. For his business card, he wants an inverted drawing for the front and normal for the back.

I took the photo into Adobe Illustrator and created a vector version of the accordion. I was trying to find a sketchy look, but the client didn't like any of the ideas that I had. Plan b it is, then.

Drawing it by hand was plan b. I am still working on adding drums sticks to the design, because Kuchen County band is made up of two guys, one on drums and one playing accordion.
